Fertile but persistent anovulation or sporadic ovulation, commonly seen in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Unresponsive to clomiphene (CC), resistant to CC.
Severe deficiencies of FSH and LH, especially LH levels below 1.2 IU/L.
In vitro fertilization-embryo transfer assisted reproductive technology or other derived technology is required.
First, before touching the pre-filled injection pen, wash your hands and make sure they are clean as well as all items.
Then find a clean place and remove the items to be used, e.g., pre-filled injection pen, 1 needle, and 2 alcohol cotton balls.
After removing the pre-filled injection pen, remove the cap first, then tear off the sealing piece on the outer needle cap.
Embed the screw end of the pre-filled injection pen and the outer needle cap, then rotate the pre-filled injection pen (clockwise).
Install the needle firmly and remove the outer needle cap.
Eliminate Air Bubbles (First Use Only):
Turn the Dose Setting Knob clockwise so that the reading in the Dose Display Window is aligned with the marking of 25 with the dot on the front.
Remove the inner needle cap, hold the Prefilled Injection Pen so that the needle is facing upwards.
Gently tap the cartridge retainer with your fingers to bring all air bubbles up to the end of the needle.
Press the Dose Setting Knob fully; if a small amount of fluid comes out of the tip of the needle, it means that the Prefilled Injection Pen is ready for injection.
If no liquid appears, repeat the procedure up to a maximum of 2 adjustments until a droplet appears at the tip of the needle.
Turn the Dose Setting Knob to the Dose Display to show the single injection dose prescribed by your physician.
If the dose prescribed by the physician is exceeded or not reached, the dose setting knob can simply be turned back to the correct dose.
Check the adjusted dose before proceeding to the next step.
The dose setting knob cannot be pushed or pulled while rotating.
Follow your doctor's instructions to choose the appropriate injection site (the area 3 fingers away from the navel).
To avoid overstimulation of the skin to form hard lumps, choose a different site each day for the injection, such as the left side of the navel, the right side, or the lower side.
Before injection, wipe the injection site with an alcohol cotton ball.
Slowly push the needle into the skin; press the dose setting knob as fast as possible.
Keep the injection needle immobile for at least 10 seconds during the injection with the dose setting knob pressed down.
After 10 seconds, keep pressing the dose setting knob until the needle is pulled out of the skin, then press the injection site with an alcohol cotton ball again.
Ensure the number of doses on the dose display window returns to 0. Only a display of 0 indicates that the dose injection is complete.
If the number displayed on the dose display window is > 0, it means that the drug in the pre-filled injection pen has been used up in the current injection and the actual current dose injected is less than the pre-set amount of drug administered.
Handling Incomplete Dose:
The number shown on the dose display window is the amount of additional injection needed to complete this administration.
Use another new pre-filled injection pen and follow the administration procedure to complete the missing dose.
Remove and discard the needle after each injection.
Hold the cartridge retainer portion of the prefilled injection pen firmly, carefully cap the outer needle cap, then squeeze the outer needle cap tightly and loosen the needle in a counterclockwise direction.
Be careful of being pricked by the needle; dispose of the used needle properly.
Cap the prefilled injection pen; prohibit reuse or sharing of needles.
Remove used needles before capping the prefilled injection pens.
Store prefilled injection pens in a safe place, preferably in their original box.
When the medication in a prefilled injection pen has been used up, do not dispose of empty pens via wastewater or food waste; consult the pharmacist on how to dispose of them.
Store unopened pens away from light and at a temperature between 2–8°C.
Store opened pens at or below 25°C for the period of validity.
Storage time must not exceed 28 days; do not discard them at will.
Do not buy other people's leftover medicines to inject yourself, and replace the needle with a new one every time you inject. The syringe has negative pressure, and body fluids may flow into the storage cylinder, potentially introducing other people's germs into the body.
Do not freeze to save, but refrigerate. Do not put the injection pen into the freezer, as frozen solution cannot be injected.
Keep the injection time consistent every day; do not miss or give more injections, or change the medication without authorization.
If you miss a dose, do not use a double dose to make up for it; contact your doctor promptly.
If the pen is stored in the refrigerator, leave it at room temperature for a few minutes after removal to bring the solution to room temperature.
Carefully inspect the pre-filled pen and the solution; discard if it has been used for more than 28 days after first opening.
