At the beginning of 2025, Wanhai Medical reached a crucial stage of development—securing an exclusive billion-yuan investment from a leading international capital. This financing will support Wanhai Medical in further expanding its production capacity.
Seizing the momentum, Wanhai Medical is making a major strategic move, investing in the construction of a new production base. The base covers 34 acres, with planned factory buildings totaling 38,000 square meters.
Once completed and operational, the company’s annual production capacity for injection pens will increase by 310 million units on top of the existing 120 million, ultimately reaching an automated and intelligent capacity of 400 million units, providing strong support for global market supply.
In 2025, Wanhai Medical continued to deepen its presence in the global market, adding over 80 new partner clients and expanding its overseas service coverage to more than 20 countries and regions. To date, the company has served over 260 clients, with its business footprint spanning more than 80 countries and regions.
Wanhai Medical in 2025:
· Obtained EU CE MDR certification.
· Activated A-status for pharmaceutical packaging materials for disposable pen injectors.
· Successfully renewed Class II medical device registration certificate, manufacturing license, and ISO 13485 certification.
In terms of patent achievements, as of December 31, 2025, Wanhai Medical has filed a total of 188 patents, with 73 granted, laying a solid foundation for technological innovation and enhanced market competitiveness.
15 new fully automated intelligent assembly and inspection production lines will be gradually installed at the production base over the next two years.

The new cleanroom injection molding workshop is equipped with high-end Sumitomo Demag all-electric injection molding machines.
