Q1:How do I store the FSH Pen?
A new box of pre-filled pens should be stored in the freezer (2-8℃) before opening the box, or in an ice pack during transportation.
Check the expiration date and do not use it after the expiration date.
FSH pens are valid for 28 days once opened and can be stored at room temperature of 25℃ or below, preferably in the refrigerator freezer (2-8℃). Any unused pens that have not been used for more than 28 days after opening should be discarded and cannot be reused.
NOTE: Refrigerate rigorously.
Q2:What if I miss a dose or have too many doses?
In case of a missed dose: Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose. If you miss a dose of follicle stimulating hormone during an injection, please contact your physician at Co2 immediately.
Overdose: The effects of a single injection of too much are not known at this time, except that there may be an increased risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome if human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is injected at the same time. If you accidentally inject too much follicle stimulating hormone during use, please contact your doctor at Co2.
Q3:What should I do if the dose setting is wrong?
If you accidentally exceed the preset dose, you can turn the dose setting knob back to the normal dose. To adjust the dose, you can turn the dose setting knob forward or backward. After confirming that the dose is correct by looking at the dose display, you can continue with the injection.
Q4:Each new pen needs to be deflated for the first time and the recommended dose is 25 IU per deflation.
Turning the dose setting knob directly to scale 25 means that a single deflation is 25 IU. a maximum of 2 deflations can be performed with each pen. It is not necessary to deflate the pen before each injection, as too many deflations with a single pen may result in insufficient medication.
Q5:What should I do if there are needles left after each box of Follicle Promoting Injection?
It is recommended that used needles be stored separately from unused needles.
For unused needles, please keep them in the medication box for safekeeping until the end of treatment, and dispose of them at the designated place after injection. Do not give needles away. If you do not have enough needles, please purchase them at a pharmacy or hospital.
Q6:What should I do if I have pain and redness at the injection site after using FSH Injection Pen?
As described in the instructions, in the unlikely event of local reactions at the injection site, such as bruising, redness, swelling and itching after subcutaneous follicle stimulating injection, most of them are transient and mild local reactions, and can be kept under observation. However, in the unlikely event of serious symptoms, please return to the hospital for prompt medical attention.
Q7:What should I do if there is insufficient dosage in a single pen during the use of FSH Injection Pen?
Example: If you need to inject 187.5iu per day, the total amount of a FSH injection pen is 450iu, 187.5iu on the first day + 187.5iu on the second day, and the remaining 75iu on the third day, please rotate the dosage setting knob directly to scale 75, i.e., 450iu = 187.5+187.5+75. After the injection is completed, re-open the box of FSH injection pen, exhaust the air for 25iu, and then rotate the dosage setting knob directly to scale 112.5, and finally, open the box of FSH injection pen again. After the injection is completed, open a new box of FSH injection pen, exhaust the air for 25iu and then turn the dose setting knob directly to scale 112.5 to complete the injection, i.e. 187.5=112.5+75.
